Reinforcing Professionalism through Medical Ethics Education Based on Arete

This article examines the current status and limitations of medical ethics courses in 40 schools South Korea. Weaknesses these curricula are identified through an analysis students’ opinions. It is found that education Korea focused primarily on normative case-based learning while character largely overlooked. However, if goal to nurture ethical virtues professionalism, it essential students also receive some thinking training based principles virtue ethics.
